A beautiful winery in a medieval Tuscan town.  A team young folks headed by the vigneron, Marco Tait.

Grapes: 80% Carignano, 20% Alicante Nero (aka Grenache)

Alcohol: 11.5%

Farming/Winemaking: Certified biodynamic. Clay, Sand. Carignano was direct-pressed, Alicante Nero was added whole cluster for a 12 day maceration in concrete tanks.

Tasting Notes: Dont let the dark color fool ya - this is not a darkly sweet rose but a lovely and vibrant and fuller bodied rosato balanced by acidity and tannin structure. Could open up your lighter multi-course meal or woks just great on its own.
