Tasting notes: The son of an Alsatian raised on austere Alsatian wines I wasn’t sure which foot to put forward in representing the region. So, I rebelled and landed a very untraditional expression that is wholly outside my experience. The above grapes are classic indigenous varietals but Ive never had them all together macerated whole cluster like this. The result remains very approachable with tropical citrus and dried apricot feels - the character of each of the grapes is there but the ensemble is very playful. What ya think Ma?
