Aurelien Petit works by hand on his petit domain near the town Montpeyroux in Languedoc.  A successful wine to Aurelien is one that we want to drink, is straightforward.

Grapes: 55% Mourvèdre, 45% Grenache

Origin: France, Languedoc

Alcohol: 13%

Vintage: 2022

Farming/winemaking: Organic red clay soil, indigenous yeasts, unfiltered, natural - de-stemmed then 3 day maceration. Fermentation takes place in fiberglass vat and aged in neutral oak for 10 months

Tasting notes: Light and dry with subtle earthy funk that blossoms by the end of the glass.  Balanced with nice acid and dry currant fruit - would go nicely with some charcuterie.  Perfect for the light fare at your favorite pick up soccer post-game hang
