Le Petit Domaine | La Pinarderie Blanc Pinard '22

Aurelien Petit works by hand on his petit domain near the town Montpeyroux in Languedoc.  A successful wine to Aurelien is one that we want to drink, is straightforward.

Grapes: 60% Chardonnay, 40% Clairette

Origin: France, Languedoc

Alcohol: 12.5%

Vintage: 2022

Farming/winemaking: Organic clay, limestone, galets roulés, indigenous yeasts, unfiltered, natural - de-stemmed then 2 day maceration. Fermentation takes place in fiberglass vat and aged in neutral oak for 10 months

Tasting Notes: A nice aperitif.  On the nose there’s the aroma of the mirabelle plums from mom’s hometown which continues in the palate but with added depth of fresh figs.  Light tannins, balanced with nice acid and a clean finish.
